The Greenman Public House sits nestled into the courtyard of its namesake building, The Green Man, an eighteenth-century coaching inn that has been the focal point of the town of Ashbourne since its beginnings. The pub is part of the revival of this historic establishment, and our focus is on showcasing the best local, seasonal and international produce carefully sourced.
Our ethos here at the pub is to create delicious food inspired by the very best local and seasonal ingredients. Our menu changes on a regular basis, as frequent as daily. All curing, smoking, preserving, butchery and baking is done on site, with much of the produce being sourced within a 35-mile radius.
Join us for a few drinks in our cosy bar, and settle in for the afternoon or evening by ordering some bar snacks. Or join us in our vibrant dining room for a meal overlooking our open plan state of the art kitchen.
