What the New Normal will look like...
There is no doubt that when we return that things will look a little different. As we adjust in this difficult period our opening and closing times may vary. Dependent on government guidelines, trade, and staffing levels, we will build towards a full menu, aiming to introduce something NEW each week.
There will still be the same friendly welcome from the team, albeit with table service ONLY and unfortunately NO standing at the bar. Emphasis as always with the food will be seasonal, local, and made in-house by Pete and our small team of Chefs.
Our now extremely popular takeaway service will continue Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights. Please see our takeaway menu for more information.

2.1 Government Guidelines
In a restaurant it is virtually impossible to remove every risk, however our policy is to mitigate this through updated hygiene policy and best practices. Risk assessments have been carried out and we will take every measure to minimise contact, ensure our new higher hygiene levels are met and maintain social distancing.
We have increased our outside covered seating in the courtyard at The Greenman with tables and chairs being positioned at the required distance apart, in line with the latest Government guidance.
Every member of our team must agree before each shift that they are fit for work.
All reasonable steps will be taken to meet the Government's Covid-19 Secure Workplace Guidelines.
Please be assured we already adhere to strict health & hygiene routines, but we will now be taking extra measures to ensure that all areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and are compliant with the guidance.
Toilets are for guests only. They will be cleaned with increased frequency. Please understand that queuing for the facilities may cause a bottle neck where social distancing cannot be adhered to. To mitigate this risk please be diligent, mindful, and considerate of other guest’s, staff, and our operational capability when queuing.
We will be adhering to the Government guidance on maintaining a social distance and adapt what we are doing as this evolves.
Table layouts have been adjusted to allow for the stipulated distance to be met.
We will ask all our guests to use common sense and take responsibility for your own physical distance during your stay when you are moving around to safeguard other guests and members of our team. All the staff will do the same for you and their colleagues.
